Swiss Heritage Winery joined the Broad Run Cheesehouse in 2003 and began producing refreshing flavorful wines with the same love and dedication that Broad Run Cheesehouse is known for. Join them for fun and informal wine tastings along with special events held all year long.

At Swiss Heritage Winery you can expect to taste some of the sweetest wines and delicious cheeses all while enjoying the beautiful Amish countryside. At Hans’ Place, see the winery, eat at the cafe or spend time on the outdoor patio and decks. Live musical performances are frequent features, too.

Black Gold Golf Club is a great golf course here in Tuscarawas County and golfers don’t have to sacrifice the usual amenities to afford it. This beautiful course was built on 166 scenic acres of farmland with numerous ponds and bunkers that deliberately come into play. This course offers a total of 27 holes, which can be easily broken down to nine-hole or 18-hole play.

The Norma Johnson Center located outside of Dover, Ohio is a nature area open to the public every day of the year from dawn to dusk.  Norma Johnson Center’s 303 acres offer a place of solitude in which to observe wildlife, enjoy birding, view wildflowers or just take a brisk walk. Hike on their marked trails while observing first-hand how nature can be improved by care and management.

Take advantage of over 6 miles of trails and their fishing ponds for your enjoyment. The Norma Johnson Center is a great place for a family picnic, group outing or summer meeting of your favorite community group.

The Baltic Area Historical Society is located in the ground floor of the Baltic State Bank, 101 E Main Street, Baltic, Ohio. It is open to the public on selected weekends as well as during community events. The museum features photos, artifacts, family genealogies, furniture, uniforms and more from Baltic’s treasured past. This family friendly museum is open on selected weekends

The Baltic Area Historical Society was founded in 1999, as a result of the 1998 Sesquicentennial celebration. The goal of the society is to document and preserve local history for future generations.

David Warther Carvings represent one man’s dedication to create a body of artwork for the benefit of the visiting public and his native community.
David Warther’s work is a collection of intricately carved miniatures that depict sailing ships from ancient Egypt, circa 3000 B.C. to modern times. The collection, now numbering over 80 ship carvings, is a highly educational exhibit of maritime history. When on public display, David’s exhibit of carvings has been seen by visitors from around the globe who have been inspired by the striking beauty of his artwork.
Carving from antique ivory and ebony wood, David’s works are designed using blueprints and drawings furnished by maritime scholars and researchers worldwide. Visitors are especially intrigued by the ivory rigging. Each line is made of ivory that has been hand filed to seven thousandths of an inch (.007″) in diameter and then masterfully applied to the ship carving. David developed this hand filing and sanding technique for making “ivory threads” at the age of 13, and has perfected it over the years.

Located nestled in the heart of Sugarcreek, Ohio’s Swiss Village, Collectors Decanters and Steins offers a wide selection of classic and collectible decanters and other unique items. They feature Ohio’s largest decanter museum, with over 3000 unique works of art.
