Dennison Yard is your place for amazing Italian food and outstanding pizza! Their hours are:

• Monday-Thursday: 4pm – 9pm
• Friday-Sunday: 11am – 10pm

Opening — 6 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Closing — It will close at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

It will be closed on Sunday and Monday.

The menu will feature beef and pork plates, fresh-cut french fries and all-you-can-eat beer-batter fish from 3 to 7 p.m. on Fridays. Saturdays from 3 to 7 p.m. will be wing night. Also available will be homemade sides such as coleslaw, macaroni salad and potato salad.

The Dennison Depot was the site of a famous WWII Servicemen’s Canteen that served 1.5 million GI’s, and was nicknamed “Dreamsville.” The restored 1873 Pennsylvania Railroad Depot now houses a museum with exhibits that fill the original Women’s Waiting Room, baggage room, ticket office, and Railway Express building.

Displays feature local history such as the baptism of Hollywood Film Star, Clark Gable, the Pennsylvania Railroad Baseball Teams, which George W. Bush’s Great-Grandfather, Samuel Prescott Bush played, a large N-scale model railroad layout depicting the town of Dennison, clay artifacts from when the area was the clay capitol of the county and of course, railroad and canteen artifacts. The Depot stands exactly 100 miles from Columbus and Pittsburgh, and is located specifically at that point because a steam engine could only go 100 miles before requiring water. At its peak, the Dennison Yards were considered to be the most complete and extensive in the country.

In addition to the Museum, the restaurant on site – Lucille’s – is a wonderful 1940’s themed diner with a menu suitable for all ages!

The 9-hole Five Waters Golf Course in Midvale, OH is a public golf course that opened in 1969. Designed by Don Kinser, Five Waters Golf Course measures 3,191 yards from the longest tees. The greens are bent grass and the fairways are bluegrass.

This is a par 3 course.

This 3/10 mile, semi banked, asphalt oval features Late Models, Pure Stocks, Detroit Iron, Modifieds and Compacts racing events.

The idea for a trail and park system in the Village of Tuscarawas and Warwick Township started as a project of the Warwick Lions Club in 2010. As the project vision expanded, it was determined that the project would progress much quicker as a separate group outside of the club.

The Village of Tuscarawas/Warwick Township Trail and Parks Group held their first meeting in January 2011 as a informal community group with the sole purpose to raise funds for the planning, development, and maintaining of trails and parks in our area.

The official name of “Zeisberger Trail and Parks” was determined in March 2011.

“Homemade with love” is the bottom line. It is that way on the wine label and also in the emerging history of Casella Winery at Roxford Park. The commercially bonded winery was established in 2013 as a home occupation offering one wine, Nonnu’s, through wine stores and restaurants. In the same season, the Roxford District School, a 1918 landmark became the new home for Casella Winery. Located in the country Six miles south of Atwood Lake Resort. Offering 13 wines to please a variety of tastes. This landmark building and grounds have been groomed and dubbed, Roxford Park, where you can come and hold any special event, indoors or outdoors. Take in the distant country views while you are sipping a favorite wine and enjoying being at Roxford Park.

The Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Kent State University at Tuscarawas is a contemporary 50,000 sq. ft. facility featuring a 1,100 seat theatre with a mezzanine level and dress circle balcony. This spectacular Center also features a multi-purpose rehearsal room, classrooms and dressing rooms. A versatile two-level lobby will seat 368 guests for receptions and conferences.

The Tuscarawas Philharmonic brings you the sounds of symphony orchestra, from the hands of the region’s numerous and wonderful classically trained musicians.

Founded in 1772 as a Moravian mission, the village is reconstructed to appear as it did over 200 years ago. As the Moravian missionaries, led by David Zeisberger, spread education and Christianity throughout the region, the Christian Indian population of Schoenbrunn Village grew. Crops, the tending of livestock, hunting and craftwork in addition to schoolwork and religious teachings made up a day in the life of a Schoenbrunn resident or visitor. David Zeisberger’s grave may also be visited nearby in Goshen on State Route 416. Goshen was a mission village founded after Schoenbrunn. Today, 17 reconstructed log cabins, the original cemetery, and 2 acres of planted fields are available to tour. This site is owned and managed by the Ohio History Connection.
