The Other Side of Tusc

If the Tuscarawas County Convention and Visitors Bureau is in the business of sales then consider the county our product. Anyone willing to enjoy it is the market. From face-to-face interactions to our social media presence, everything we do is focused on promoting the area. What we want is for you to enjoy the stories of our history and our people. And we figured it was about time to help in the telling of those stories. No matter where you visit in Tusc, you will find a litany of names and faces making our hometowns special. People dedicating their lives to providing us with spaces to eat, drink, learn, live and play. Now you have the chance to hear their stories with the CVB’s very own podcast, The Other Side of Tusc.

This endeavor is not new to the digital space. There are an untold number of podcasts available to you everyday that we are vying for your attention over. But it’s worth arguing there have been dozens of reasons to get out and explore Tuscarawas County since you were born here or moved here. We are not starting this show with the idea of saving you the time of visiting our shops, museums or restaurants. On the contrary, we want you to visit them with a renewed sense of understanding. We want our listeners to go to Historic Schoenbrunn Village and recognize the people keeping its history alive. We want families to order at Park Street Pizza and find out what makes Rocky so talented. (No seriously, how is he able to make pizza that good?)

The Other Side of Tusc Podcast is an opportunity to put names to faces and stories to places. In the same amount of time it takes to do the dishes we want you to walk away from an episode with a newfound appreciation for the dedication and expertise that goes into making our hometowns a true community.

Once a month you will find our newest episode on all of your favorite podcasting platforms, and you can expect highlights to be uploaded to our social media as well. If you haven’t already, follow us on Facebook at the Tuscarawas County Convention and Visitors Bureau to stay up to date on all of our latest posts, including the podcast. And when you are ready to get out and enjoy each location we’re ready to help you as well. Just visit traveltusc.com or give us a call at (330)-602-2420. Our first episode will be going live next Monday!
