The Wilkshire Golf Course is a beautiful and challenging 18 hole championship course located just off I-77 exit 93 in Bolivar, Ohio. Wilkshire Golf Course is open year round (weather permitting). Wilkshire Golf Course has tree-lined fairways, gently rolling terrain and numerous sand traps that call for accurately placed tee shots. A totally automated irrigation system ensures plush playing conditions.

River Greens Golf Course has matured into one of the most enjoyable and finest tests of golf in Ohio. The tree lined, soft, lush fairways are constantly maintained and manicured. This contributed to River Greens receiving a 4 ½ star rating, and was named as “… one of North America’s top 201 best public-access courses” by Golf Digest in the 2000-2001 Places to Play publication. River Greens Golf course is a public course with a practice facility, Pro Shop, a banquet facility, and onsite lodging.

The 9-hole Five Waters Golf Course in Midvale, OH is a public golf course that opened in 1969. Designed by Don Kinser, Five Waters Golf Course measures 3,191 yards from the longest tees. The greens are bent grass and the fairways are bluegrass.

Black Gold Golf Club is a great golf course here in Tuscarawas County and golfers don’t have to sacrifice the usual amenities to afford it. Zoar Village was founded in 1817 by a group of German Separatists seeking religious freedom. In 1819, to survive and pay for their land, they formed the Society of Separatists of Zoar, a Christian Communal Society. Due to pressures from the outside world, it disbanded in 1898. Today, visitors can revisit the 19th Century at this German-style village. The historic district abounds with restored private homes, shops, and ten buildings open to tour by the Zoar Community Association through an agreement with the Ohio Historical Connection. Specialty group tours, bus tours, luncheons and dinners in historic buildings available.
The Zoar Wetland is located in northern Tuscarawas County near the historic Village of Zoar. It is a natural wetland ecosystem with a 30-acre shallow marsh and 50 acres of woodland. Our volunteers maintain two miles of trails and all other interpretive features.
Zoar’s first schoolhouse, the Zoar School Inn was built in 1836. This historic building offers four rooms, each with a private bath. Whirlpool tubs and gas fireplaces are in three of the rooms.
