Join your Erie Lackawanna colleagues at a combination event — a tour of the Age of Steam Roundhouse in Sugarcreek, Ohio, and an excellent presentation on the early life and times of the Erie Lackawanna. Of special interest will be a presentation by Arthur Andrew Olson III, author of the book “Forging the Bee Line Railroad 1848-1889” which examines in detail the relation of the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago & St. Louis, Indianapolis, and St. Louis) and the fascinating “what ifs” of the Erie’s “West of Salamanca” predecessor.
The all-expense charge is $45 and the doors open at 9:00 a.m. Tours of the Roundhouse will precede presentations. The events of the day will end by 4:30 p.m.
Please send your $45 check to the ELHS to Randal A. Dettmer, 290 W. Prospect St., Hudson OH 44236
